From Men's Health

• In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper reveals a fast-forward look at a classic cyst extraction.
• Dr. Lee spends a good portion of the clip cutting out the cyst's sac wall, a step to help lower the odds that the cyst will regrow in the same place.
• Cysts occur for a variety of reasons, but are typically benign, harmless, and relatively easy to remove under a dermatologist's supervision.

Longtime fans of Dr. Pimple Popper know that sometimes the doctor can take her good sweet time to get to the part you've been waiting for. If you've ever found yourself impatient waiting for the reveal—typically in the form of a juicy squeeze—then you're in luck this morning. In her newest video, Dr. Pimple Popper—aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—provides a time-lapse cyst pop, a high-speed look at all the effort that goes into a typical extraction.

A look at the fast-forwarded action reveals just how much time the doctor spends carefully snipping away at the cyst's sac until it's removed, a step that helps ensure the cyst won't simply regrow in the same place after the procedure is completed. Of course, the procedure culminates with a series of hard squeezes, in which the doctor removes a large amount of thick, dark, paste-like gunk.

It's unclear from the video exactly what type of cyst this is, and as MedicalNewsToday notes, cysts can occur all over the body and for a variety of reasons. Thankfully, most of the time they're benign, and relatively easy to treat while under the care of a dermatologist.
