Spring Classics season continues apace with the E3 Saxo Classic on Friday, March 24. The 204km race is billed as a mini-Tour of Flanders and will bring together the cream of the crop of big name Classic riders from the WorldTour peloton.

The race is set to take in numerous famous Flandrian cobbled climbs, including the Taaienberg, Paterberg, Oude Kwaremont, and more, setting up a huge battle for the win at the latest cobbled Classics appointment.

2022 winner Wout van Aert (Jumbo-Visma) heads up the start list, with the Belgian set to do battle with eternal rival Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck) and the new cannibal Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates).

The trio will be among a number of huge names lining up at the start in Harelbeke, with the Soudal-QuickStep leaders Julian Alaphilippe, Yves Lampaert, and Kasper Asgreen among the top teams taking on the race.

Biniam Girmay (Intermarché-Circus-Wanty), Greg Van Avermaet (AG2R Citroën), Matej Mohorič (Bahrain Victorious), Filippo Ganna (Ineos Grenadiers), and Mads Pedersen (Trek-Segafredo) are among the other big contenders starting, alongside many more.
