MARQUETTE, Mich. (WJMN) — The venue hosting Joe Pera’s standup comedy shows in Marquette is urging fans looking for secondhand tickets to be cautious of the people selling them.

Pera’s “Peras Tour” stop has two shows Feb. 6 at the Marquette Regional History Center. Both were sold out on Jan. 6, the day after they went on sale.

Local 3 has reached out to the MRHC for details on what sources people say they received the fake tickets. We will provide updates here as we learn them. If you think your ticket may be fake, contact the MRHC by phone at (906) 226-3571.

For ticketholders, the venue asks attendees to follow these rules:

  • Be prepared to show paper/screenshotted receipt, OR printed ticket.

  • ENTER ONLY on the Third Street Ramp; doors open 45 minutes before each show.

  • EXIT ONLY through the Spring Street & Baraga Street Doors.
