Florida A&M football has had a rocky start to its 2022 season. Despite hanging tough early at North Carolina without more than 20 players, FAMU is 0-2 and has been outscored 115-27 by UNC and Deion Sanders' Jackson State squad.
But there's good news for the Rattlers. Isaiah Land, the 2021 Buck Buchanan Award winner, and most of the players ruled ineligible early in the season are back on the field. And Willie Simmons' team is finally getting a home game Saturday against Albany State.
If the Rattlers want to turn their season around, they'll need a return to form from quarterback Jeremy Moussa, who threw for just 102 yards last week after tossing 279 yards and two touchdowns in the opener.
The Golden Rams made the Division II playoffs last season. They won their season opener against Missouri College after scoring 14 points in the fourth quarter. Redshirt junior quarterback Dionte Bonneau threw for a touchdown, while Marcuis Fulks ran for 115 yards and a score.
