Proud owners of a four-game winning streak and currently tied for second in the SWAC's East Division, Florida A&M has a lot of momentum heading into a matchup Saturday with Grambling.
The Rattlers (4-2, 2-1 SWAC) are coming off a 20-14 win over South Carolina State in a game that saw them hold off the Bulldogs down the stretch. Quarterback Jeremy Moussa is off to a fine start, throwing 10 touchdown passes against five interceptions. Xavier Smith has become a lethal target for Moussa, the receiver on seven of those 10 Moussa TD passes.
It has not been a good season to date for Grambling (1-5, 0-3), coached by former NFL coach Hue Jackson. The Tigers are coming off a heartbreaking 37-31 loss to Alabama A&M in two overtimes, even though they were able to rally in the fourth quarter to tie on a Maurice Washington touchdown run. Washington is the team's leading rusher and has four touchdowns.
