3-pointers: Following the Tigers' last-second victory over the Seminoles in late January, they have lost three in a row, including a 20-point loss to UNC on Saturday. Clemson’s largest margin of defeat of the season. ... Matthew Cleveland had 18 points against Clemson earlier in the season. He will be a game-time decision, just as he was Saturday, due to back spasms, FSU head coach Leonard Hamilton told the media in a Zoom press conference Tuesday morning. He scored six points and six rebounds, ending a streak of 18 straight games in double figures in scoring. ... Hunter Tyson had six 3-pointers and 27 points against the Seminoles last time out and Chase Hunter added 26 points. ... Jalen Warley is coming off a career-high 23 point performance in the loss against Pittsburgh on Saturday. ... FSU holds a 46-34 advantage in the all-time series, though it has lost its last three games at Clemson. The Seminoles' last win on the road against Clemson came on Feb. 19, 2019. ... The Tigers have dropped to 77 in the NET rankings, putting them on the bubble, while FSU is ranked 212. ... Clemson dropped to the “Last Four In” in ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi’s latest projection of the 68-team NCAA tournament field.

What FSU needs to do to win: The Tigers led 16-2 a couple of minutes into the game last time the teams met, but the Seminoles outscored them 79-66 the rest of the way. ... The Tigers allowed 15 3-point makes against the Tar Heels last time out. FSU has struggled shooting of late from three, so this could be a good matchup to turn that around. Caleb Love had 6 3-pointers to finish with 23 points. PJ Hall led the Tigers with 18 points. ... Hunter Tyson leads the team with 15.6 points per game, while Hall averages 14.4 points and Chase Hunter is third with 14.1 points per game. ... Clemson head coach Brad Brownell said he is considering lineup changes following the three-game skid.

ACC Standings Update: Virginia and Pittsburgh (11-3) enter Wednesday in a tie atop the ACC standings with Miami (12-4) in third place and Clemson (10-4) in third. FSU enters the day tied with Boston College (6-9) tied for 10th.
