Three-pointers: FSU plays its third game against a ranked opponent this season. The Seminoles lost to No. 1 Purdue (Nov. 30, 69-59) and No. 12 Virginia (Dec. 3, 62-57) in their previous two. ... FSU has won three of its last four following a 1-9 start to the season. ... The Seminoles have not beaten Duke on the road since Jan. 21, 2012, when Michael Snaer hit a game-winning 3-pointer in a 76-73 win. .... FSU lost to Duke 88-70 last season in Durham, but defeated the Blue Devils 79-78 at home in overtime. ... The Blue Devils lead the all-time series 42-11 against the Seminoles, with coach Leonard Hamilton 8-21 all-time against Duke. ... Guard Matthew Cleveland is seeking to become the first Seminole with four straight double-doubles since Douglas Edwards (1992-93).

What FSU needs to do to win: Since the injury to Cam'Ron Fletcher, Cleveland has become the leading rebounder for the Seminoles, he'll need to have another big game to give them a chance. ... FSU played five starters over 30 minutes against Notre Dame and will likely need big minutes from its starters again, as the team still lacks depth due to injuries and suspension. ... The Seminoles have averaged 77 points per game in their four wins, but just 65.3 in their 10 losses. ... Duke is averaging 72.9 points per game and allowing 60.4.
