Florida State University's Kirsten Pavlisko (11) dribbles the ball during a game between FSU and the University of Virginia at the Seminole Soccer Complex Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021.

It's rematch time for the ACC women's soccer title.

Florida State got past Wake Forest on Friday night in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament semifinals, winning 2-1 in overtime on Maria Alagoa's goal.

Now, the Seminoles (15-1-2) take on Virginia, whom they drew 1-1 with at the end of the season, on Sunday. That tie gave Virginia the regular-season title and top seed, and FSU the No. 2 seed.

Sunday's game will take place at 1 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.

The Cavaliers (16-1-2) reached the final with a 1-0 win over Clemson on a goal by Diana Ordoñez.

FSU came into the ACC tournament built around a defense that has shut out opponents eight times this season.
