FSU football roundtable:What to expect from Seminoles' early-enrolled freshmen

3-pointers: The Seminoles have never lost to the Panthers in program history, leading 9-0 in the all-time series. … FSU is coming off its biggest comeback of the season, rallying back from a 13-point deficit to defeat Virginia, 77-68, on Thursday. … Freshman guard Ta’Niya Latson became the fastest Seminole to reach 500 points in a season, accomplishing that feat in her 21st career game by tallying 15 against the Cavaliers. … At fifth nationally in rebounds per game (44.4), FSU is 12-0 this season when out-rebounding opponents. … Seminole guard Sara Bejedi has been on a hot streak in her last four games, averaging 21.8 points while shooting 49.1% from the field and 48% from beyond the arc during that stretch. … Pitt coach Lance White and FSU coach Brooke Wyckoff were longtime assistants together under former Seminole coach Sue Semrau (2011-18).

What FSU needs to do to win: It is difficult to imagine FSU messing up this one. Pittsburgh has lost 11 of its last 13 games, beating only North Alabama and Loyola University of Maryland during that span. Not to mention the Panthers seem to struggle in the Seminoles’ best areas. They come in at No. 205 nationally in rebound margin (-0.1), No. 258 in scoring defense (67.6 points allowed per game) and No. 279 in 3-point percentage defense (32.7%). Look for Latson and Bejedi to help give the Seminoles a comfortable win. FSU certainly could use a convincing victory before its showdown at No. 7 Notre Dame on Thursday.
