How to watch Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix on TV, live stream

Miami and auto racing have been linked for a long time. Indy Car, NASCAR and various sports car circuits have all made their way down to the area, whether it's the streets of downtown or Homestead International Speedway.

But now, Miami is part of Formula 1's big American move.

Fast on the heels of the U.S. Grand Prix in Austin last year, which drew 400,000 fans, the Miami Grand Prix will take place on Sunday near Hard Rock Stadium. F1 is under contract to come to Miami for the next 10 years to the newly christened Miami International Autodrome.

The races in Austin and Miami will be joined in 2023 by another U.S. F1 race in Las Vegas. Experts think part of the reason for the American push is the success of the Netflix documentary series "F1: Drive to Survive," which introduced many of the circuit's top stars to American audiences for the first time.

One of them is Charles Leclerc of Monaco, who has won two of this year's four F1 races so far. The other two races, including last week's event in Imola, Italy, have been won by Belgium's Max Verstappen.
