What to Watch Friday: It’s ‘Hamilton’ day! Here’s how to stream the Broadway hit

Hamilton (Disney+) - Never got tickets to “Hamilton”? Yeah, me neither. But today, the filmed version of the massive-mega-monster Broadway hit makes its debut on Disney’s streaming service, making it accessible to anyone with $6.99 and an internet connection. The Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and more traditional Broadway music to tell the story of the American founding father Alexander Hamilton with a mostly Black and Latino cast, including Leslie Odom Jr. (the movie is filmed with the 2016 cast).

If you don’t already have Disney+, here’s the deal: It costs $6.99/month or $69.99/year, but there’s no free trial. The Baby-Sitters Club (Netflix) - This new series is based on the best-selling book series that follows the friendship and adventures of five middle school girls as they start their babysitting business in the town of Stoneybrook, Connecticut. The baby-sitters are played by Sophie Grace, Malia Baker, Momona Tamada, Shay Rudolph and Xochitl Gomez. Alicia Silverstone and Mark Feuerstein also star.
