Services for former first lady Rosalynn Carter begin Monday, Nov. 27 in Plains.

On Monday mid-morning, the family motorcade will arrive at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus. Carter’s remains will be transferred to a hearse before heading to Georgia Southwestern State University for a wreath-laying ceremony. The motorcade will then travel to The Carter Presidential Center in Atlanta for a repose service.

On Tuesday, there will be a tribute service at Glenn Memorial Church at Emory University. President Joe Biden is expected to attend.

To conclude the services, on Wednesday, there will be a private funeral service at Maranatha Baptist Church.
