Fans were flooded with emotion at the release of Marvel’s Vol. 3 of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise, which premiered over the May 5 weekend.

But there was one artist with a special connection to the film who also tearfully experienced it in a viral TikTok.

English singer and frontwoman of the rock band, Florence + The Machine, Florence Welch shared an emotional reaction to her listening to her band’s song “Dog Days Are Over” during a climactic scene in the Chris Pratt film.

“So I cried all the way through this movie but when The Guardians of the Galaxy started dancing to Dog Days I really lost it,” Welch said in the caption of the video of her joyfully weeping over the scene. “Thank you so much for all the love for this moment. The superhero obsessed little girl in me can’t believe it happened.”
