Though eclipsed by the recent release of French jewelry label Cartier's three-and-a-half-minute spectacular "The Cartier Odyssey," Parisian designer Isabel Marant has also dipped her toes into the realm of online video campaigns, unveiling her first ever fashion film.
Unlike Cartier's Bruno Aveillan-directed ad which stars three panthers and boasts its own micro-site, Marant's campaign -- which can be seen here -- has more in common with the dreamier aesthetic of recent campaigns by the likes of Marni for H&M and Vanessa Bruno. Marant's first foray into fashion film follows her recent announcement that expansion into e-commerce is a priority. The designer teamed up with Cyrille de Vignemont for the serene commercial. The French director, also known as Danakil, is famed for working on music videos for the likes of Poni Hoax and The Penelopes.
