Jackson State football is still pulling wins. The undefeated Tigers (6-0, 4-0 SWAC) brought home another 48-8 crushing win over Bethune-Cookman last week.
As the Tigers prep for their homecoming game against Campbell (4-2, 2-0 Big South) on Saturday, Deion Sanders gave a statement of hope for the city of Jackson in light of the big game. “I just want the city to prosper. No crime this weekend … Let's just show love all weekend. That would be a true blessing. That's what I want to see in Jackson,” Sanders said.
Jackson State will face the Campbell Camels on Saturday (2 p.m. CT) at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium in Jackson, Miss.
