WATCH: Justin Fields gets introduced to Chicago Cubs crowd

Baseball in the day on national television used to be synonymous with the Chicago Cubs. That was a long time ago before they installed lights at Wrigley Field, but there’s still nothing like a daytime crowd in Wrigleyville during summer to let you know you’re watching the great American pastime.

And on Friday, former Ohio State and current Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields got his first taste of the social gathering that is a Cubs game. It was a special occasion because the city of Chicago just opened up capacity to 100 percent and Fields was there to take it all in. It is the first time Wrigley has been opened up to full capacity since September of 2019.

Look, and watch as Fields and the rest of the Bears 2021 NFL draft class are introduced to the Chicago Cubs crowd as they take on the arch-rival St. Louis Cardinals Friday afternoon.

The city of Chicago is going to absolutely lose its mind if Fields becomes a superstar in the NFL. We can’t wait for it.
