LAWRENCE — Kansas men’s basketball takes a break from the Big 12 Conference portion of its schedule Saturday, with a matchup on the road against Southeastern Conference-foe Kentucky.

The No. 9 Jayhawks (16-4, 5-3 in Big 12) come into the game after a loss on the road against No. 17 Baylor. The Wildcats (14-6, 5-3 in SEC) won on the road against Vanderbilt their last time out. Last season, Kansas suffered a lopsided 80-62 defeat at home against Kentucky.

The Jayhawks will look to end a three-game losing streak Saturday night, while Kentucky will look to extend its four-game winning streak.
