How to watch Kansas State basketball's game vs. Texas

MANHATTAN — No. 6-ranked Kansas State (18-4, 6-3 Big 12) will try to keep its perfect home record intact Saturday against No. 9 Texas (18-4, 7-2) with a chance to claim a share of the Big 12 lead with the first-place Longhorns.

The Wildcats are 12-0 at home and 11-0 in Bramlage Coliseum, but dropped its last two Big 12 games, losing at No. 13 Iowa State (80-76) and No. 8 Kansas (90-78). In between those losses, they knocked off Florida at home, 64-50.

K-State also is going for a season sweep of Texas after beating the Longhorns in Austin, 116-103, on Jan. 3.

But Texas has been on a roll since that game, winning its last three conference games and six of the last seven. However, the Longhorns did lose their SEC/Big 12 Challenge game at Tennessee on Jan. 28.

Keyontae Johnson leads K-State in scoring with 18.2 points per game and rebounding with a 7.9 average. Markquis Nowell adds 17.1 points and 8.1 assists. For Texas, Marcus Carr averages 16.7 points, followed by Sir'jabari Rice with 11.0, Timmy Allen with 10.8 and Iowa State transfer Tyrese Hunter with 10.3.
