How to watch the Kings’ home opener in Sacramento: Streaming, watch parties, tickets

The Sacramento Kings are kicking off their 2023-24 season at home on Friday, going head-to-head with the Golden State Warriors at Golden 1 Center.

The Beam Team returns after a surprise break-out season last year, winning 48 games and entering the playoffs.

The Kings first play the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night in Salt Lake City.

Friday’s game starts at 7 p.m. in Sacramento. Here’s how to watch and see if the beam will be lit:

Streaming

According to the NBA, the game will be broadcast on ESPN and NBC Sports California. You can also stream on NBA League Pass, which starts at $99.99 per season after a free seven-day trial.

You can also tune in and listen to the play-by-play on Sactown Sports 1140AM.

Watch parties

Local bars in the Sacramento area are known for streaming the game for customers, including Tom’s Watch Bar in DoCo and Barwest in midtown.

Tickets

Resale tickets for the season-opening night are still available.

On Ticketmaster, prices start at $87 but go up to more than $2,000 for seats closer to the court. On Seat Geek, tickets start at $84.

Tickets on StubHub are going for $90 and up.
