The OU softball team, which ended the 2022 NCAA regular season ranked No. 1 -- where the Sooners have been ranked since March 2, 2021 -- will join Prairie View A&M, Minnesota, and Texas A&M in the Norman regional of the NCAA Division I Softball Championship Friday, May 20, through Sunday, May 22, in Norman.

The Sooners earned the No. 1 overall seed in the 64-team NCAA Tournament during Sunday's selection show.
