Replay: Oakland County officials address copycat threats after Oxford shooting

More than half of the public schools in Oakland County were closed Thursday in response copycat threats following Tuesday's fatal shooting at Oxford High School.

In an effort to calm fears, Oakland County officials addressed the threats, some appearing on social media, during a press conference at 4 p.m. Thursday.

  • A representative from Oakland Schools

  • Various Oakland County police chiefs and school superintendents

The press conference took place at the Oakland County Sheriff's Office Administration Building located at 1200 N. Telegraph Road, Building 38 East in Pontiac.

Four people were killed and seven injured in shooting, which was the nation's deadliest school shooting in three years.

Suspect Ethan Crumbley, 15, has been charged on counts of terrorism, first-degree murder and more.
