Replay: Final Nashville Mayoral Debate between Freddie O'Connell, Alice Rolli

Nashville mayoral candidates Freddie O'Connell and Alice Rolli will face off in the fourth and final leg of The Nashville Mayoral Debates at Belmont University's Fisher Center at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

A crowded field of 12 candidates was narrowed to two after the general election earlier this month. Voters must now choose between Metro Nashville Council member O'Connell, who has represented downtown Nashville the past eight years, and Rolli, a business and education strategist, and campaign manager for former Sen. Lamar Alexander.

Early voting for Nashville's mayoral runoff election starts Friday. Election day is Sept. 14.

The debate series is a collaboration between The Tennessean, NewsChannel5, Belmont, American Baptist College and the League of Women Voters of Nashville.

Tennessean readers submitted a variety of questions they would ask the candidates, on topics ranging from public debt and neighborhood investment to public safety and relations with the state legislature.
