Watch live: Ken Paxton impeachment trial continues

Day five of suspended Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's impeachment trial in the Texas Senate is slated to start Monday morning.

David Maxwell, a former director of law enforcement in the attorney general's office, was the last to give testimony on Friday afternoon.

Legal experts interviewed by American-Statesman investigative journalist Tony Plohetski analyzed the fourth day of the trial Friday evening and others will do so from today's proceedings at 6:30 p.m. Monday, too.
