Uvalde shooting: Photos and videos show scene at Robb Elementary School

A gunman shot and killed 19 students and two school employees in Uvalde on Tuesday afternoon.

Gov. Greg Abbott said that a gunman was an 18-year-old who killed his grandmother before entering Robb Elementary in Uvalde and opened fire with a handgun. He was later killed by police.

It is the deadliest school shooting in state history, surpassing the number of people killed in the 1966 University of Texas tower shooting.
