The Tallahassee Democrat and WFSU bring you this empty-seat forum with candidate for U.S. House of Representatives, Florida District 2: Rep. Al Lawson.

While forum organizers offered Rep. Neal Dunn’s campaign any date in October that this forum would work with his schedule, he did not respond. He debated Rep. Al Lawson at Tiger Bay earlier today, and we offered to meet with him at any time after while he was in town. He responded that “our schedule is jam packed … with prior commitments.”

The League of Women Voters is not participating in this forum because their national chapter guidelines and longstanding policies prevent them from participating in an empty-seat forum.

The forum will be broadcast live at the Tallahassee Democrat's Facebook page, the Tallahassee Democrat's YouTube Channel and on Tallahassee.com at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18.
