Former President Donald Trump traveled to Washington, D.C. Thursday, widely expected to plead not guilty on charges that he tried to overturn the 2020 election, his third indictment this year.

USA TODAY is providing live coverage of the day's events, from Trump landing in Washington to his arrival at the E. Barrett Prettyman United States Courthouse. You can watch live at the embed at the top of the page or on USA TODAY's YouTube channel.

Trump departed from his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, around 1 p.m. to take a flight from Newark to Washington, where he arrived before 3:30 p.m. ET. The arraignment is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET.

He was indicted Tuesday on charges of conspiring with aides to overturn his 2020 election loss to President Joe Biden, efforts that led to the insurrection of Jan. 6, 2021. His other two indictments: A state case in New York involving hush money payments and a federal case in Florida alleging obstruction of justice and improper retention of classified documents.
