White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is holding a daily press briefing Monday afternoon.
Earlier Monday, President Biden congratulated the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers for reaching a tentative agreement to end one of the strikes that’s brought much of the American entertainment industry to a halt in recent months.
The president has also in recent days made an appeal to the members of the United Auto Workers as their strike against major U.S. automakers continues.
The White House briefing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. EDT.
