Watch live: Witness testimony continues in Day 4 of Ken Paxton's impeachment trial

Day four of suspended Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's impeachment trial in the Texas Senate is slated to start Friday morning.

Ryan Vassar, Paxton's former deputy attorney general and the third witness to testify, will continue his time on the stand Friday morning. David Maxwell, former director of law enforcement in the AG's office, followed his testimony in the afternoon.

Legal experts interviewed by the American-Statesman analyzed the third day of the trial Thursday evening and others will do so from today's proceedings at 6:30 p.m. Friday, too.
