How to watch Louisville baseball in ACC tournament: Bracket, schedule, TV information

The Louisville baseball team clinched the Atlantic Coast Conference's Atlantic Division title for the fifth time in program history Sunday by closing out the regular season with a series victory over Virginia.

Now, coach Dan McDonnell and the Cardinals set out to accomplish something they've never done before: win the ACC tournament championship.

The 2022 ACC Baseball Championship begins Tuesday at Truist Field in Charlotte, North Carolina. As the tournament's No. 2 overall seed, the Cardinals (38-16-1, 18-11-1 ACC) won't begin pool play until 11 a.m. Wednesday, when they face 11-seed Pitt.

Louisville enters the conference tournament with a league-high eight selections to the All-ACC team: pitchers Jared Poland and Michael Prosecky, outfielders Levi Usher and Cameron Masterman, catchers Dalton Rushing and Jack Payton and infielders Christian Knapczyk and Ben Metzinger. Usher was also named the conference's Defensive Player of the Year.

Louisville baseball: How Cardinals bounced back after missing 2021 NCAA Tournament

After missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time in a decade under McDonnell in 2021, the Cardinals are ranked No. 9 in the country in RPI and are projected to host a regional at Jim Patterson Stadium, according to D1Baseball.com. A deep run in a conference tournament featuring four of the country's top 15 offenses will only help those chances.

Here's a look at how you can follow all of the action on the diamond this week:
