WATCH: Mama bear and cubs break into back porch of Orlando home

An Orlando home needs a big repair job on its back porch after being visited by a mama bear and her two cubs.

Ray Shelly shared video with Channel 9 showing the bear family walking around at a home on Castelle Drive in Orlando, not far from Maitland Boulevard.

Shelly said one of the cubs got inside the home’s back porch last weekend.

The bear cub rummaged through the trash, tore up some cabinets and ripped apart the screens.

“They’ve been around for years,” Shelly said. “Not a big deal. But now they are a little bit too aggressive. I’d like to have something done.”

Shelley said he wants the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to trap the bears and move them to a more remote location.

FWC officials said there was nothing they could do since no one was hurt.
