WATCH: Man throws barrage of punches during fight on Southwest flight from Oakland to Hawaii

(KRON) — Two passengers were involved in a “disruptive” fight on a Hawaii-bound Southwest flight that departed from Oakland Monday, a Southwest Airlines spokesperson told KRON4. The flight was headed to Lihue, a census-designated place on the island of Kauai.

Video (above) shows a man wearing a black cap throwing about seven punches toward another man. However, at the beginning of the video, it appeared the recipient of the punches threw a half-hearted slap at the man first.

A woman was caught in between the two parties. She did not appear to be hurt by any of the punches thrown.

At least one Southwest crew member and one passenger intervened to step in and stop the man from throwing any more punches, video shows.
