Late in the first half on Saturday night against Arizona, Ducks wide receiver Kris Hutson hauled in a 29-yard reception down the sideline, which helped put Oregon in scoring position.

However, the freshman got up and immediately spun the ball on the field, earning a taunting penalty from the officials and negating the big play.

Coach Mario Cristobal, who has long preached the importance of limiting penalties, showed about as much emotion as he has ever showed before in a televised game.

Cristobal was irate over the poor decision making by Hutson, throwing his headset on the ground and yelling at the wide receiver from a very close distance.

It wasn’t the prettiest final few minutes in Eugene. Yet, despite a handful of disappointing looks from Cristobal throughout the game – including yelling at someone shortly after Oregon scored on the third play from scrimmage – the Ducks are leading the Wildcats by a score of 24-10 at halftime.
