Watch Mayor Craig Greenberg in the trailer for new docuseries about Ohio Valley Wrestlers

Mayor Craig Greenberg will soon make his Netflix debut in a new docuseries about Louisville-based Ohio Valley Wrestling set to come to the streaming platform in September.

The trailer for Wrestlers, released on Tuesday, gives a sneak peek of Greenberg in the eight-part docuseries, set to be released on Sept. 13. The show follows the struggles of the people involved in Ohio Valley Wrestling, including the wrestlers and their trainer, former Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment star Al Snow, who has one summer to prove the gym can stay in business.

"With new owners in the picture, once-famous pro wrestler Al Snow has been given the summer to turn OVW's dire financial situation around," the YouTube description of Wrestlers reads. "Wrestlers tells the story of a handful of eccentric misfits who attempt to come together to help Al save this historic gym while achieving their own wild dreams of wrestling professionally."

Snow, whose real name is Allen Ray Sarven, originally bought Ohio Valley Wrestling from its original owner, Danny Davis, in 2018. A group of investors led by Greenberg and Kentucky Sports Radio founder Matt Jones purchased part of the business in 2021.

Ohio Valley Wrestling, the only "trade school for professional wrestling," was founded in 1993 and has trained industry superstars like John Cena, Batista, and Randy Orton, according to the academy's website. People can currently watch wrestling shows at Davis Arena, 4400 Shepherdsville Road, or on television.

The series will also feature Snow and some active Ohio Valley Wrestling wrestlers, including Hollyhood Haley J, according to the show's promotional site.
