How to watch New Mexico-Nevada tonight

Feb. 7—Former New Mexico coach Steve Alford, now coach of Nevada, is returning to the Pit on Tuesday but the stakes will be higher than his last visit. This time, there are Mountain West championship and NCAA Tournament implications at play.

The Lobos (19-4, 6-4 Mountain West) are fifth in the conference while the Wolf Pack (18-6, 8-3 Mountain West) are tied for second.

On Jan. 23, Nevada beat UNM 97-94 in an epic double-overtime thriller that included 16 lead changes, 21 ties, and neither team leading by more than five points in over 50 minutes of play.

A crowd of around 15,000 fans is expected for the rematch in the Pit. The Lobos are favored by 3.5 points.
