WATCH: Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo gives advice for MSU fans traveling to NYC to watch Sweet Sixteen
Michigan State basketball is in New York City this week for the Sweet 16, and that means a lot of MSU fans will be in town to watch their squad.
Before the game, Tom Izzo cracked a joke and had some advice for the Spartan fans coming to town:
“If a guy opens his jacket and there’s a bunch of gold in there, don’t buy it! It’s probably phony. It took me a long time, but I learned that.”
