WATCH: Ohio State walk-on Harrison Hookfin surprised with scholarship by Chris Holtmann

There are some videos that we just can’t get enough of, and this is one of them. Ohio State walk-on basketball player Harrison Hookfin has been putting in the work to make others better in practice, grinding, and working just to be a part of the Buckeye program.

It’s nice then when guys that likely have no shot of cracking into significant minutes are rewarded and that’s exactly what head coach Chris Holtmann did Sunday, surprising Hookfin in a team huddle and awarding him a scholarship that will now pay his education at Ohio State.
