The Oklahoma State softball team will be the No. 2 seed in the Big 12 softball tournament Thursday through Saturday, May 12 through 14 at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma State (38-12 overall, 14-4 Big ) has been consistently ranked among the NCAA's top 25 softball teams this season.

In 2021, Oklahoma State softball came within one win of winning the Big 12 title, losing the championship contest to OU 10-2.

The Cowgirls went on to advance to the 2021 WCWS, exiting after losing to No. 8 Florida State 4-2 June 5.
