WATCH: Payton Pritchard, Patrick Williams go off in private NBA runs

If you want another look at how the Boston Celtics’ 26th pick of the 2020 NBA draft is shaping up playing against high-level talents, we tracked down a clip of Payton Pritchard getting into it with several talented young prospects.

Among them is Florida State product and 2020 No. 4 overall pick Patrick Williams joining the Celtics rookie in The Guard Whisper NBA runs, documented by the folks at Swish Cultures.

Pritchard, who spent all four NCAA seasons with the Oregon Ducks while averaging 20.5 points, 4.3 boards, 5.5 assists and 1.5 blocks per game in his senior season, will have to step into a substantial role to start his inaugural season in the league.

And from the looks of what we’re seeing in this clip, it seems like the West Linn native has been putting in work in advance to prepare for the jump from college to the Association.

Watch the video embedded above to see for yourself how Pritchard looks against some solid competitors — there’s some pretty impressive stuff to see from this recently-signed floor general until we get our first look at him in green and white on Dec. 15.
