An emotional prime-time Sunday night home victory usually means an emotional postgame locker room, and that was the case after the Ravens’ big 36-35 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

After a wild finish to a game few gave the Ravens a chance to win, coach John Harbaugh delivered an impassioned speech to his team, during which he gave every person in the locker room a game ball.

“We’ve had great wins around here,” Harbaugh begins, “but I don’t think we’ve had one bigger than that. I don’t think we ever have. Here’s what I love about that win ... we said, ‘It ain’t perfect. It’s not pretty, but it’s us. It’s us.’ That’s the Ravens. We know it; that’s the Ravens.”

Harbaugh continued, harping on the fact everyone in his ear told him to go for it on fourth-and-1 on the Ravens’ 43-yard line. Before he kept his offense on the field, Harbaugh looked at quarterback Lamar Jackson and shouted: “Lamar! Do you want to go for this?”

The 2-yard run sealed the victory and kept Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes on the sideline as the final seconds ticked away.

“What should we do? I look back and we got 10 guys: ‘Go for it. Go for it,’” Harbaugh said to his team postgame. “Everybody said what? ‘Go for it!’ And that’s what you did tonight. That’s what you did tonight, from the beginning of the game to the end of the game, you went for it, and that’s what wins, always, no matter what.”
