48 HOURS: Kassanndra’s Secret (10 p.m., CBS)

“48 HOURS” investigates the 2020 disappearance of Kassanndra Cantrell of Tacoma, Washington. Cantrell was supposed to meet her best friend on an evening in August, but never showed up. Police found her car in an industrial area near downtown Tacoma three days later, and located surveillance footage showing a man in a fedora leaving her car. Her body was found about a month later, in garbage bags dumped from a hillside.

The never-before-seen footage of the mysterious man in the hat has been obtained by CBS and will be shown tonight. Police pretty quickly suspected that the man in the hat was Colin Dudley, a man Cantrell met in 2006, but Dudley told them he hadn’t seen Cantrell in years. Was he telling the truth? Natalie Morales reports.
