Here’s what’s on TV tonight.

Love in the Limelight (8 p.m. EST, Hallmark)

We get a very meta movie from Hallmark this week. Summer, who has been pen pals with boy band singer Nick for years, is reluctant for her relationship with him to go public when he comes to town for a comeback concert. It stars real life married couple Alexa and Carlos PenaVega. Carlos, a former star of the Nickelodeon series “Big Time Rush,” is is a member of a real pop band, also called Big Time Rush, created on the series.

So Carlos PenaVega, who became a member of a boy band after playing a boy band member in a TV show, now stars in a TV movie about a boy band member making a comeback. Got it?

Rene Rivera and Ivonne Coll (“Jane the Virgin”) also star.

A Dangerous Affair (8 p.m. EST, Lifetime)

In case it’s not already hot enough for you, Lifetime is launching a “Love, Lies and Seduction” slate of movies for August, with a new movie premiering each Saturday. We start with “A Dangerous Affair,” which is about a pilates instructor, Amelie Didot, who begins a steamy love affair with one of her handsome clients, journalist Pierce Dalton.

The two find themselves “dangerously intertwined” after Amelie comes face to face with a masked woman following a murder, and it’s discovered that the murderer (the masked woman?) has an erotic obsession with Pierce. Amelie then becomes a target in a deadly love triangle.

The movie stars Aubree Bouche and Charlie Bewley.
