Watch: Southwest employee dances while he de-ices a plane in Milwaukee, turns heads

At Milwaukee's Mitchell International Airport an employee was caught dancing on the job.

On Nov. 6, UW-Madison student Claire Embil was on a Southwest flight to Baltimore, then on to Hartford, Connecticut, to look at grad schools.

As she was on the plane, it had to stop on the tarmac to be de-iced.

"I had never been on board a flight while they were de-icing ... so naturally I was really curious," she said.

She was watching the mist come out of the hose when she noticed the employee in the crane holding the hose.

"He was in his own world in between the sprays just jamming out. I couldn't help but take a video," Embil said.

She tweeted a video of the man saying she didn't know who the man was "but he made a delayed flight so much better! It's the little things."

The Southwest employee was Davon Sims, who has worked for Southwest for nearly seven years.

Sims said he was probably listening to a '90s R&B song and dancing is a part of his normal work routine.

"Usually I’m out there at 4 in the morning, so either I'm listening to music or I have a song stuck in my head and I'm moving to stay warm," he said.

He danced in front of the plane full of passengers, but "it didn’t really matter to me if anyone was on there or not," Sims said.

The video has since made it around the internet and been picked up by a few news sites.

"I find it's pretty cool," Sims said. "With a lot of things going on in the world, someone recognized me and they were having a rough day with their flight being delayed and that day was made better by me."
