WATCH: SpaceX sends Starlink satellites into orbit with overnight Falcon 9 rocket launch

SpaceX sent another batch of Starlink satellites into orbit early Thursday.

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket just after 3:30 a.m. from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Shortly after taking off, the first stage booster of the rocket landed on SpaceX’s droneship, A Shortfall of Gravitas, in the Atlantic Ocean.

According to SpaceX, in five years, it has launched almost 4,000 Starlink satellites, providing high-speed internet access to more than a million locations around the world.

SpaceX confirmed Thursday’s launch successfully deployed another 56 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit.
