Watch: Springfield standout Trevon Brazile might have had the dunk of the year in an Arkansas win
When everyone's response on Twitter to a dunk was "that man has a family," you know a pretty nasty dunk just went down.
Former Kickapoo and Parkview star Trevon Brazile was the one throwing down the monster slam during Arkansas' 71-56 win over South Dakota State on Wednesday night in Fayetteville.
Late in the game, Brazile attacked the lane and jumped from outside the lane, cocked back and threw down a tomahawk slam over SDSU 6-foot-8 redshirt freshman Broden Lien. The dunk was tabbed as the No. 1 play on SportsCenter on Wednesday night.

Brazile has been one of the better players to come out of Springfield in recent years. He started his career at Mizzou before making the move to Arkansas this past offseason. The Razorbacks made the Elite Eight last season and are currently ranked No. 9 in the AP Poll.
Brazile has recorded a double-double in two of the Razorbacks' first three games this season. In an opening night win over North Dakota State, he scored 21 points and had 12 rebounds off the bench. He scored 13 points and had 10 boards on Wednesday.
NBA.com recently ranked Brazile as the No. 41 prospect heading into the 2023 NBA Draft.
At Kickapoo, during his senior year, Brazile was a Class 6 all-state selection and he helped lead the Chiefs to a state championship. Before his senior year, he played at Parkview where he averaged 11.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game as a junior.
