April’s arrival means it’s again time for the “tradition unlike any other,” the 87th Masters Tournament at Augusta National.

This year’s tournament is expected to feature some of the biggest names in golf, including Tiger Woods and defending champion Scottie Scheffler. It comes as the golf world navigates the rise of the controversial LIV.

If you’re not a “patron” (AKA a fan attending in person), you’ll still be able to watch every round on TV or via streaming. But different rounds will air on other channels.

Here’s everything you need to know about the 2023 Masters Tournament and how to watch from the first tee to the green jacket ceremony:

When does the Masters start?

The 2023 Masters tees off at 7:45 a.m. Thursday with honorary starters Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, and Tom Watson at the first tee.

Practice rounds will be available for viewing Monday through Wednesday, and the Par 3 Contest runs from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday.

How to watch the Masters on TV

Thursday and Friday rounds will air on ESPN from 3 to 7:30 p.m. The network will also air its “Welcome to the Masters” pre-show, hosted by Scott Van Pelt, from 1 to 3 p.m. both days.

How to stream the Masters

You can stream all rounds of the Masters and the Par 3 Contest live at masters.com or via the Master’s app.

ESPN’s coverage will also be carried on its streaming service, ESPN+. CBS will stream coverage at cbssports.com/watch/masters-live.

How to watch the Masters in Spanish

All rounds of the 2023 Masters will air in Spanish on ESPN Deportes.

Thursday and Friday’s rounds will be live from 3 to 7:30 p.m., and weekend rounds will air from 5 to 7 p.m.

Can LIV golfers play the Masters?

Golfers participating in the LIV — the upstart league that’s been controversial for its ties to Saudi Arabia — who are eligible for the Masters were invited to the 2023 tournament, organizers said previously.

“Regrettably, recent actions have divided men’s professional golf by diminishing the virtues of the game and the meaningful legacies of those who built it. Although we are disappointed in these developments, our focus is to honor the tradition of bringing together a preeminent field of golfers this coming April,” Augusta National Golf Club and Masters Tournament chairman Fred Ridley told the USA Today network in a February statement.

Six LIV golfers have previously won at least one green jacket.

Is Tiger Woods playing in Masters 2023?

One of the biggest names in golf has also been one of the most significant question marks heading into the 2023 Masters.

Tiger Woods, a five-time Masters champion, appeared to address those questions Sunday when he arrived at Augusta National and began practice, ESPN reported.

Woods finished 47th in last year’s tournament, his first since he was seriously injured in a February 2021 car crash. Since the incident, the 15-time major champion has said he will stick to a select number of major tournaments each year to accommodate his health.

Who is the favorite to win the Masters?

Defending champion Scottie Scheffler is tied with Rory McIlroy at +700 for the best odds at the 2023 Masters as of Monday morning, per VegasInsider.

Jon Rahm, +900, and Jordan Spieth, +1600, round out the top four.
