How to watch or stream Duke football game vs. Lafayette on Saturday

For the first time in five years, Duke football will take the field as a ranked team this Saturday.

Fresh off their monumental upset over then No. 9 Clemson, the No. 21-ranked Blue Devils face Lafayette, a Football Championship Subdivision team from the Patriot League.

Duke (1-0) beat Clemson, 28-7, on Monday night, giving the Blue Devils a short week to prepare for Saturday’s game. Of course, Duke’s players and coaches are riding a serious high that should carry them through their truncated prep time for the Leopards (1-0).

Lafayette won its season-opener at Sacred Heart, 19-14, last Saturday.

Duke landed its first national ranking since September 2018 when this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll was released on Tuesday.

Kickoff time + TV channel for Lafayette-Duke

Duke plays Lafayette at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The game will not be available on over-the-air channels or cable because it is on the ACC Network Extra package of games. But it is available on DirecTV.

How to stream the Leopards vs. Blue Devils matchup

Essentially, if you have access to ACC Network, you also have access to ACC Network Extra. ACC Network Extra is available on ESPN’s streaming platforms, like the ESPN app or those with an ESPN+ account that’s not tied to a Spectrum cable account. Spectrum cable and ESPN are in a carriage dispute, so all Disney-owned channels are unavailable on the region’s most widely available cable television provider.

But ACC Network Extra is available on the following streaming services: DIRECTV Stream, fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV. Sling customers must also subscribe to that service’s Sports Extra package ($11/month) to have access to ACC Network and ACC Network Extra.

Betting odds

No line has been set for this game by major U.S. sports books, which is common practice for games between Football Bowl Subdivision and Football Championship Subdivision teams.
