The Cincinnati Reds will face the Chicago Cubs in this year's MLB Field of Dreams game, which is set for Aug. 11 in Dyersville, Iowa.

The game is based on the movie "Field of Dreams," which is about an Iowa farmer who plows over his corn to build a baseball field for Joe Jackson and other White Sox players who were banished for throw the 1919 World Series.

Last season, Tim Anderson hit a walk-off home run to lead the Chicago White Sox past the New York Yankees 9-8.

After Thursday's game, there's an off day on Aug. 12 and the Cubs and Reds resume the series at Great American Ballpark on Aug. 13.

The Cubs and Reds will both wear custom throwback uniforms during the game.
