What to Watch on Sunday: A Dolly Parton documentary and ‘Killing Eve’ returns

Biography: Dolly (8 p.m., A&E) - This A&E Biography documentary explores the five-decade career of Dolly Parton, the songwriter and performer who has influenced generations and country and pop artists. The documentary examines the social commentary and personal stories in hit songs like “Jolene,” “9 to 5” and “I Will Always Love You,” and features interviews with Dolly herself. There are also interviews with Lily Tomlin, Chris Stapleton, Jane Fonda, Kylie Minogue and other friends and musicians.

A Question of Faith (8 p.m., Lifetime) - In this new movie, a teenage girl hits a 12-year-old boy with her car while texting, and the tragedy links three families together in grief. It stars Kim Fields, C. Thomas Howell and Richard T. Jones.

Killing Eve (9 p.m., BBC America / AMC) - Season 3 of this amazing Phoebe Waller-Bridge-created series returns two weeks earlier than originally planned, so there’s a little good news, right? The same cast returns (Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer in lead roles), but this time there’s a new showrunner, Suzanne Heathcote.

ID Breaking Now (10 p.m., Investigation Discovery) - This new true crime series discloses the untold details behind the sexual assault conviction of Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein.

Unsung: Al Jarreau (10 p.m., TV One) - TOnight’s episode of this musical documentary series spotlights jazz singer Al Jarreau. Jarreau, the Acrobat of Scat, was the first singer to win Grammys for jazz, R&B and pop. He remained popular with his fans until his passing in 2017 at the age of 76. This episode interviews friends and family.

Willie Nelson: American Outlaw (10 p.m., A&E) - This all-star tribute concert honors country music icon Willie Nelson, featuring performances by George Strait, Jimmy Buffett, Chris Stapleton, Dave Matthews, Eric Church, Emmylou Harris, Vince Gill, Sheryl Crow, Jack Johnson, Norah Jones and the Little Willies and more.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond (10 p.m., AMC) - This new two-season limited series premieres after “The Walking Dead” Season 10 finale, and expands the universe of the series, delving into a new mythology and story that follows the first generation raised in a surviving civilization of the post-apocalyptic zombie world.

Insecure (10 p.m., HBO) - The Season 4 premiere of this Issa Rae show at 10 is preceded by a four-part virtual block party starting at 8 on Rae’s Instagram account. Watch via @IssaRae.
