WATCH: Talking about the state of the Boston Celtics with team play-by-play announcer Sean Grande

There are very few people in the NBA media sphere with a better view of the Boston Celtics on a night-to-night basis than legendary Celtics broadcaster Sean Grande, and the well-known Boston sports personality has had a bird’s-eye view of the team’s uneven if improving start to the 2021-22 NBA season as well as some of the issues that have been causing it.

Whether we are talking about the state of the team’s roster in terms of new faces and the considerable coaching changes made this offseason by the front office, or how the game itself has been officiated this season, Grande has been soaking it in on a nightly basis as per usual.

In a recent episode of the Off The Glass podcast “Hoopsology,” hosts Justin Goodrum and Matt Thomas are joined by Grande to talk these issues and plenty more.

Watch the clip embedded above to hear Grande’s takes on what’s been up with the Celtics and the NBA more generally this season, as well as the challenges of covering the team fairly when expectations don’t quite match the on-court product.
