The Vols squeaked by Louisiana, 58-55, on Thursday, while Duke didn't allow points in the first seven minutes in a 74-51 win over Oral Roberts in an earlier game Thursday.
This is the two program's first NCAA Tournament game and first matchup overall since a 2011 Maui Invitational game, a Blue Devils victory.
